TIME IS NOT SHORT — TIME IS FINITE, AND THAT MAKES IT PRECIOUS!
Time is meant to be honoured, valued, and utilised consciously. Every moment counts toward the masterpiece called your life.
My Experience
When I accomplish tasks, achieve goals, and I am super productive I feel as though I am living a hundred years in a single day!!
It amazes me to realise that if I can achieve so much in just one day, then imagine what I am truly capable of accomplishing over a lifetime, and suddenly, life feels infinite, eternal, and overflowing with potential.
From this experience, I have come to believe that when you are content, fulfilled, and genuinely proud of yourself, you will never feel that time is short.
You hold the POWER to make your life worthwhile and precious; and when you do, you will feel that you have truly lived your life, embraced every moment, and accomplished everything your heart desired!
MANAGE TIME
- Organise yourself and plan all activities, especially those that truly matter to you.
- Plan, at a high level, your day, week, month, and year — define your INTENTIONS, goals, visions, and priorities in advance.
- Prepare a clear roadmap for your upcoming week, month, and year to stay on track.
- Manage your time wisely to balance productivity and presence — devote quality family time while ensuring you accomplish your “must-do” tasks.
- Set aside dedicated family days, task days, buffer days, free days, and me-time — structure creates freedom!
VALUE TIME
- Value every minute by living consciously and making the most of every hour.
- Use your time intentionally — strategise, plan, create, and act with purpose.
- Identify and reduce activities that are energy drainers or not aligned with your goals.
- Invest your time in learning, growing, and improving your skills.
- Love your work, love your life, and harmonise the time spent between the two for a fulfilling, balanced existence.
CONQUER PROCRASTINATION — THE THIEF OF TIME
- Follow Mel Robbins’ 5-Second Rule, by counting down from 5 to 1 and act immediately! (Try it when you don’t feel like getting out of bed or starting a task.)
- Plan and schedule your day with specific times for your most urgent and important tasks.
- Keep notes and reminders in your notebook or phone because external prompts help build consistency.
- Motivate yourself daily to execute those actions that truly matter.
- Be intentional and conscious about your time; ensure every task in your calendar is a commitment to your growth, avoid filling your calendar with fluff.
- Replace “yeah, but…” excuses with decisive action; making progress is much more important than perfection. One step in the right direction is far more useful than ideas in your head.
- Celebrate every completed task — pat yourself on the back for showing up and moving forward. Your consistency creates momentum!
